Abstract submission instructions

SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS
Abstracts are to be submitted online via Conference Maker which is a web-based program for
organizing international conferences. Instructions are provided below for abstract
submissions, which must be received by March 15, 2006. You will receive an automatic email
acknowledgement upon completing your submission. Notification of the acceptance of your
abstract and assignment to a paper or poster session will be made at a later time.
To submit an abstract, visit the following website:
gemini.econ.umd.edu, which takes you to a login page.
You will first need to register and set up a login name and password (see bottom of the login
page). Once you have registered, you will be directed to a list of conferences for which you can
register. Click on “2006 Annual Meeting of the Behavioral Genetics Association”, and enter
your login name and password. Click on “Submit Paper” on the left sidebar. Guidelines for the
required fields are provided on the next page.
Special instructions for Symposium Submission:
- Submit abstracts for each contributed paper on-line to Conference Maker, indicating the
TYPE OF PRESENTATION as a “Symposium”. - Submit a summary of the symposium (300 words maximum) by email to Laura Baker
(lbaker@usc.edu), including a list of the submitted abstracts.
Please use the following guidelines for required fields in Conference Maker:
USER ID: The login name you created. jpheg
PAPER TITLE: Drug and alcohol consumption in 5 million twin pairs
AUTHORS, AFFILIATIONS: Use first name, middle initial, last name followed affiliations. List
each author/affiliation on a separate line.
