We are hiring a research associate in the area of statistical genetics and psychiatric epidemiology to contribute to projects on alcohol and other substance use disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Specific areas of focus include whole-genome analyses of these phenotypes and other psychiatric comorbidities in ancestrally diverse populations; delineating the environmental factors that may modify polygenic predispositions; and characterizing how genetic and environmental influences for alcohol and other substance use disorders are transmitted within families. The Research Associate position will be based in the newly-established Rutgers Center for the Genomics of Psychiatric Health and Addiction (RCGPHA), housed within the Department of Psychiatry at the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
