We are seeking to appoint a Research Associate in Behavioural Genetics / Genetic Epidemiology. Funding for the post is available for five years, until August 2025. This is a post-doctoral position, associated with a European Research Council (ERC) Starting Grant. It will involve quantitative analysis to explore the importance of gene-environment interactions within the developmental origins of health and disease. The project is based in the School of Economics, but it involves collaborations across multiple disciplines.
Candidates must have a PhD in a quantitative subject (or be about to submit in the next few months), ideally in behavioural genetics, genetic epidemiology, statistical genetics, genoeconomics, or a related discipline. They must have a keen interest in working across disciplines. Experience analysing genome-wide data sources is required, as well as strong quantitative skills, and experience of using statistical software such as R or Stata.
The closing date for applications is midnight on Thursday 23 July 2020. The proposed start date is 1 September 2020 or as soon as possible thereafter.
