Dear members, due to a change in the membership system some of you received confusing emails. Please read the announcement below:

BGA has moved to a new membership and conference management system, 123Signup, which does not use PayPal for payments. Therefore, you received an email that the treasurer cancelled any future PayPal payments.  This,  in order to prevent double-billing in the future.

To be clear: Your BGA membership has NOT been cancelled and it IS ACTIVE and fully paid! In addition, we would request that you NOT re-enroll via PayPal!  

Your memberships were automatically transferred to the new system.  One-month before each membership expires, you will start receiving messages from BGA asking that you renew your membership through 123Signup. At that time, you will be able to choose between annual renewal or automatic renewal in the new system.

There is actually nothing you need to do at this time.  You may update your profile, request a printed copy of the journal Behavior Genetics, and register for the upcoming conference at any time using 123Signup.  

We apologize for the confusion!  BGA definitely values your membership and I appreciate your patience as we transition to this new membership system!
