We are looking to appoint a newly qualified or early career researcher. The post will specialise in longitudinal research and methods as applied to adolescent mental health. The post holder will contribute to the research profile of the Division and Centre through research leading to published work of the highest quality. The post holder will conduct and support research in the Wolfson Centre for Young People’s Mental Health and will have particular expertise in adolescent mental health including longitudinal data modelling methods, analysing large data sets and in genetics/genetic epidemiology. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and vibrant inter-disciplinary team of world-leading scientists in the fields of developmental psychopathology, psychiatry, epidemiology, genetics, data science, and social sciences.
The successful candidate will have a PhD (or nearing completion/submission) in psychology, epidemiology, statistics, social science or related disciplines and will have a track record of high impact peer reviewed journals in the field of youth mental health.

This post is full time (35 hours per week). The anticipated start date for the post will be 1st June 2021, however, there may some flexibility around this if a later date is preferred. The post will be fixed term until 31st March 2026.
Salary £33,797 – £40,322 per annum (Grade 6). Starting salary is negotiable according to qualifications and experience.
