Submit your manuscsript to Behavior Genetics

Dear Colleagues,

Once again, it was terrific to see everyone present their research at the BGA meeting in Murcia! You are carrying out exciting and important research, and we are about to publish your meeting abstract in the upcoming November issue of Behavior Genetics.

I want to urge you also to submit a full paper reporting your research to Behavior Genetics. We very much want to publish your research in Behavior Genetics, the official journal of the Behavior Genetics Association. To be frank, with the changing landscape of scientific publishing and the emerging new challenges, if members do not submit their papers to Behavior Genetics, the journal will not continue to be the success it has been since its inception (in 1970).

Manuscripts can be submitted to Behavior Genetics at: https://www.springer.com/journal/10519

You are probably also aware that any paper published in the journal is eligible for the annual Fulker Award that comes with a $1000 prize from the Association.

If you have an idea for a special issue of
Behavior Genetics that you would like to organize and guest-edit, do please contact me. Special issues are a great opportunity to provide a focused resource showcasing the behavior genetics research in a specific area and are a great service to the field.

If you have questions about the journal, or ideas for a special issue, please contact me at
john.hewitt@colorado.edu If your questions are about the management of the journal or the submission or processing of papers, please contact the Managing Editor at bgjourna@colorado.edu

I look forward to your contributions to the journal and the field, and I hope to see many of you in London next year!

With best wishes,

John K. Hewitt
